A sutra to remember
When wealth is lost, nothing is lost.
When health is lost, something is lost.
When character is lost, everything is lost.
Want less and appreciate more. Contentment turns what you already have into enough, and gratitude keeps the heart light through every season.
Do your part sincerely, then let go. Surrender (sharanagati) is not helplessness — it is trusting the divine and releasing needless anxiety.
Success is never yours alone. It is a partnership of sincere effort, past good deeds, and God’s grace — so avoid both pride and fatalism.
Change is the only constant. Don’t let hard times steal your hope, or good times inflate your ego. Emotional balance is real spiritual strength.
Every word carries energy that touches the listener and the speaker. Speak with awareness — especially in anger or stress.
Let achievement stay silent. Inner growth matters more than image — live simply and humbly no matter how high you rise.
Do your work, love your family, fulfil your responsibilities — but offer them in a spirit of service. That change of intention is the real renunciation.
True love is unconditional and free of worldly motive. Devotion is real only when it changes how you treat others.
Discipline the senses and live with restraint. A steady, contented mind — not indulgence — is the ground on which devotion grows.
